Craftsmanship/Execution Superior overall design. Professional level decision making and software competency. Strong design decisions. Acceptable levels of proficiency. Clear areas demanding improvement. Blatant mistakes. Vital communication missed. Inferior overall design. Poor decision making and lack of software competency.
Composition Adept placement of design elements for maximum efficiency in communicating ideas. Elements come together will, but could still use some improvement. Bland, poorly balanced or uninspired arrangement of design elements. Bad placement of design elements. Ideas poorly communicated.
Color Sophisticated use of color to communicate an idea or emotion. Color choices are acceptable, but still have room for improvement. Color choices are clumsy, and have significant room for improvement. Unrefined use of color. to communicate an idea or emotion.
