Preparing for grad school

Keep in mind that these tips are those I give for students who want to work with me, so they reflect the things I look for in a research career and personal statement. You may receive different advice for applying to work with other faculty, other programs, and other kinds of graduate work besides a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. However, this is what I would recommend for those working with me.

On the sidebar menu, you can read thoughts on what you can do as an undergraduate to get the research experience necessary for a successful graduate application, how to tailor your statement of purpose and get good letters of recommendation, and what to prepare for during your graduate experience.
