New Features for WordPress Users
On December 17, 2012, we will be upgrading our WordPress (WPMU) software to the latest version of WordPress. During this upgrade, websites will be unavailable from 9am-11am, though we expect to have the service back up and running sooner than the approved end time.
This upgrade will include small changes and improvements to the administrative portion of WordPress where you make updates to your website. The content, and the look and feel of your website will not change.
The following are the changes you will see in the administration consul:
- Navigation toolbar at the top now exists!
- Users will now be able to “Export” items based on these options: All Content, Posts, or Pages. The current version only exports one type of content which is all content.
- Collapsable left menu!
