PROFILE

Shannon Stevens has more than a dozen years experience in the field of communication. In Las Vegas her jobs have included working as an editor for the Las Vegas Sun, as a marketer for UNLV and as a part-time instructor for the Hank Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, Journalism and Media Studies. Starting August, 2007, she will begin full-time work on her master's degree within Urban Affairs' Communication Studies' area. As a graduate assistant, her duties will include conducting labs for COM 101. She enjoys hobbies such as dog training, hiking, watching movies, public art and renovating her home.
