This is a 3 credit graduate level course in information systems in
the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University
of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The objective of this course is to examine issues concerning
information technology as they relate to the many fields within the hospitality
industry. This course will take the more standard issues of systems,
networking, databases, telecommunications, the internet, and e-commerce,
and present materials about them in a general context and then relate these
issues to lodging, restaurant, convention, meeting planning, club, gaming,
and other hospitality related environments.
