The Course Ajar:
Principles and Practices for Multi-Section Program Design

When is a course not a course?

This website serves as supplement to the presentation that I gave for the UNLV Faculty Institute on March 5, 2010. You can access the PowerPoint slides and the text of the presentation to the right.

My goal for this web site is to offer a broad overview of some principles for program design and present our business writing "program" as a set of practices for a programmatic approach to a single course with multiple sections. Links to the three primary areas of discussion offer definitions and further examples:

Final Summary

This presentation uses materials that I have published and presented over the years with my colleagues Julie Staggers, Denise Tillery, and Jeff Jablonski.
