Current Positions:

Associate Professor, School of Life Sciences, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 2005-current.

Education:

1985: Ph.D., Botany. Department of Biology, Pennsylvania State University, University Park

1979: B.A., Botany. Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA.

INTERESTS:

Bryophyte ecology, including the basis of sex ratios, allocation, phenology, stress biology, climate change, reproductive biology, desert bryophytes, the biological soil crust.  The mosses Bryum argenteum and Syntrichia caninervis are under current study in my lab.
