Professor Strand's research focuses on the governance of international organizations, such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, United Nations, and the regional development banks. His work analyzes the voting power of states within these organizations and demonstrates how institutional design affects the relative influence of members. He has also written on other topics, including globalization, foreign aid, and global environmental governance. Professor Strand's book, Regional Development Banks: Lending with a Regional Flavor, is under contract with Routledge (Global Institutions Series). Some of his recent papers are available here. |
