COURSE REQUIREMENTS

GRADING:

The course grade will be based on two out-of-class essay exams and a termpaper (SOME TOPICS). The two lower scores each will constitute 30% of the course grade. The high score will constitute 40% of the course grade. Exams will be due approximately midsemester and at semester's end. Exams will be based on class lecture and discussion, and on assigned readings (both in the texts and on the Internet.)

ATTENDANCE:

I will not take role, but be aware that the exams are based largely on class materials. THE INTERNET NOTES THAT I AM MAKING AVAILABLE TO YOU ARE MEANT AS A SUPPLEMENT TO, NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR, CLASS LECTURES.
