| Matt's research is focused on the natural history of scorpions. He completed his B.S. and M.S. at Marshall University in West Virginia, where he was a member of Dr. Thomas Pauley's herpetology lab and Dr. Victor Fet's scorpion lab. As a Research Assistant with the School of Life Sciences and the Public Lands Institute he is also working on the conservation of Relict Leopard Frogs. |

Dawn is conducting wildlife research and monitoring activies for the Public Lands Institute focusing primarily on birds. She holds a B.S. in Zoology from Ohio State University and is currently working on her M.S. in the School of Life Sciences at UNLV. Her graduate research focuses on the modeling of habitat selection in cryptic thrasher species. |

Joe is an ardent field biologist and regional birder working with the Public Lands Institute. He is conducting an inventory and monitoring project of aquatic and shorebirds on Lakes Mead and Mohove, and a demographic study of peregrine falcons. Joe holds a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College, and is currently persuing an M.S. in the School of Life Sciences at UNLV. His graduate research focuses on his work with peregrine falcons. |

Dana conducts conservation efforts for the Relict Leopard Frog with the Public Lands Institute. She holds a B.A. in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic and received her M.S. in Biological Science from Drexel University. Her research interests range from the thermal biology of marine turtle hatchlings to questions related to tadpole morphology. |

A native Appalachian, Josh has a B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Biotechnology from West Virginia State University. His M.S. research focused on the phylogenetics of tetraphylledians (tapeworms) in sharks and stingrays. In his current research position, Josh is working on population genetics of regional taxa including amphibians and bighorn sheep under grant moneys through the School of Life Sciences. |
