Three years ago we launched a reading group devoted to issues of Evolution, Adaptation and Synthesis (see Archive link), and that group morphed into a Biocultural Anthropology reading group. Please join us for periodic meetings to discuss a paper, manuscript draft or grant proposal draft devoted to some facet of biocultural anthropology. We meet Mondays at 2:30 in the UNLV Wellness Center Café. Email me (Peter Gray) if you would like to be added to the reading group email list, including receiving papers circulated ahead of the discussion. Also, if you’re a UNLV undergraduate or graduate student interested in the evolution and endocrinology of human behavior, then please email me about a different reading group that meets weekly to discuss a paper or manuscript draft within that scope. We convene Tuesdays 11:20-12:20 in WRI B114. In this fascinating world, we never run out of fresh fodder for discussion.
