The Faculty Web Server is provided for the use of individual faculty and staff in meeting the teaching, research, and service missions of the University. Pages
not for individual faculty members but for organizations or administrative units should be hosted on the University Web server
http://www.unlv.edu. Information about accounts on the University Web server can be found at: http://web.unlv.edu/accounts.html. |
Maintenance Schedule
We reserve the period from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays for any server maintenance that is needed. During maintenance, the server will be unavailable.

Finding Pages
To find the Web pages for a person or a class, you need the URL for the pages. Students looking for Web pages for a class can usually find the URL in the course syllabus.
The URL will be something like: "http://faculty.unlv.edu/accountname," where "accountname" is something chosen by the account owner. We suggest that account owners use a string
made from the owner's first initial and last name. An account owned by John Smith following this convention would have the url: "http://faculty.unlv.edu/jsmith/."
