GENERAL INFORMATION

Research assistants in the RAM Lab will be involved in a variety of activities. Lab assistants help with data collection, prepping data files, statistical analyses, and designing materials. Students are encouraged to make at least a 2 semester committment to working in the lab. Good candidates should have strong interests in pursuing graduate work in psychology and have maintained a high GPA at UNLV (or another institution).

Working in the lab will give you research experience that is required if you plan to attend graduate school. Lab assistants will gain knowledge in cognitive psychology, learn the research process, gain experience working with computers, have opportunities to work with other students (graduate and undergraduate), and learn much more about what graduate school is like.

If you are interested in getting involved, please email us (ram_lab{at}yahoo.com) with the following information: (1) name, (2) year in college, (3) current GPA (overall and in psychology), (4) your favorite color, and (5) why you want to be a research assistant.
