Danielle received a B.S. in management/finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She worked for 4 years at an investment bank before changing career tracks and receiving her M.A. in psychology from New York University. She is a 4th year student in the Neuropsychology Research Program and will begin her clinical internship in Oklahoma in July. Her research interests focus on pediatric neuropsychology.

Involved in a study using functional imaging techniques (PET and MRI) to examine the differences in brain region activation between young and old participants and between males and females while performing a verbal memory task

Examining social interactions in mice through the use of operant conditioning with a variable interval schedule; goal is to investigate the role of oxytocin in these interactions

Participated in a intervention program for at-risk teenagers which consisted of workshops and hands-on work experience; facilitated workshops by fielding questions, grading exams, and keeping students on-task, collected performance measurements from students and their employers, and entered data in SPSS

 

Involved in the initial stages of a research project to examine facial affect perception in people with schizophrenia using an emotional McGurk effect; assisted in the creation of computerized stimuli where vocal and visual emotions are manipulated
