Course Description:
This course provides the student an understanding of the role of politics and policy-making as an external environmental impact on health care. The course will describe the political process in health care policy-making at all government levels. Interest group politics will be introduced in the context of the roles that these groups play in health care policy development and how these forces and health care organizations react to shape health care policy.

Three credit hours.

Meeting Time: Wednesdays, 7:00-9:45pm
