• A guide to sketching functions (Section 4.4)
• An Excel Sheet to help you find the roots of a polynomial (up to degree 5) using Newton's Method (Section 4.9)
• Visit the site http://people.hofstra.edu/faculty/Stefan_Waner/RealWorld/utilsindex.html  and download the "Excel Grapher" and "Excel 1st and 2nd Derivative Graphing Utility".  They are both pretty slick and can help you out quite a bit in graphing a function with its derivative.
